In 2004, Evan was contacted by a client with a beloved, but dying tree on her property. It was her hope that wood from the tree could be used to create furniture for both her main residence, as well as a vacation home.

Evan oversaw the removal of the tree and milling of the wood. The wood then aged for over a year before it was ready to use. To date, three pieces have been created from this tree.
